Are you struggling with the wear of civil engineering excavation tools?

Wear is inevitable with cutting tools, but we enhance both drilling performance and wear resistance simultaneously with a special carbide bit that has a cemented carbide plate bonded to match the convex shape of the tip.

If the tip of the tool has a specific shape, it is considered that the shape itself possesses functionality. However, if the physical properties of the tip do not have sufficient wear resistance against friction with the workpiece, there is a possibility that the original functionality may be compromised due to shape changes caused by wear. Therefore, a bonding design that covers the surface of the tip with a hard material without altering the mechanical properties or shape of the tip is effective. When cutting away the surface of the tool's base material at the tip and replacing it with a hard alloy, joint design that takes bonding strength into account and advanced brazing techniques are required. Our company can accommodate the design and manufacturing of such hard alloy brazing processes. For more details, please refer to the "Processing Technology Special Feature."

A must-see for those looking for the right size of carbide drilling bits!

If the size of the carbide claws attached to the excavation machine is too large and gets caught in the ground, a specially shaped bit that reduces the body size of the claws and decreases impact resistance is effective.

In drilling bits, inappropriate claw shapes can create shock resistance, which may lead to a decrease in the drilling performance of the machine itself. To fully utilize the tool's performance, it is necessary to consider optimal shape design to reduce the overall shock resistance of the tool and the brazing position of the carbide part that will be subjected to force. In cases where the tool is welded to the machine body, if the welding position is too close to the brazing position, there is a risk of tool failure due to reduced brazing strength caused by the heat during welding. In other words, the shape and brazing position of the carbide part become crucial points. For more details, please refer to the "Processing Technology Special Feature."
